The Philosophy of Neuro3000

Video can’t be displayed

Aging Details (below) are Getting Old!

AS OF 2026: Neuro3000 will be offering advanced Neuro-Linguistics and focusing on SNOPs: Symbolic Neuronal Operations. SNOPs make up the Linguistics / Semantic core of Hominid Neocortex, thus powering Fully Modern Thought and Language (FMT / FML). We will soon launch of a novel, curated and open access publishing option: The DINOC Journal.
CONTRIBUTORS: TO NEUROBIOLOGY OF AGING

Hi, I'm Don O'Malley

PhD in Physiology and Biophysics - Harvard Medical School Author: Neurobiology of Aging aka NBOA
I've been doing Systems Neuroscience for a very long time. Worked with Dick Masland at MGH on rabbit retina. At SUNY-SB, did first live animal neuronal population imaging (thx to Paul Adams & Barry Burbach). Described the Locomotor Repertoire of Zebrafish at NU (w/ Budick, Borla, Gahtan, Westphal).
These days, I care about SNOPs and Hominid Games. SNOPs are Symbolic Neuronal Operations in mammalian neocortex. I also wrote a Neurobiology of Aging textbook.

Nancy Madigan

PhD in Neuropsychology - City University in New York NBOA Textbook Co-Author
Dr. Madigan's expertise includes neuropsychological assessments for those with neurological and psychiatric disorders, including dementia, multiple sclerosis, concussion/traumatic brain injury, and neurodevelopmental disorders learning disorders. She had worked for many years as a staff neuropsychologist in the Cognitive Neurology Unit at Beth Israel hospital in Boston. She currently sees patients in private practice.

Kate Cruite, Lucille Johnston & Whitney Kuwamoto

Northeastern Students NBOA Textbook Contributors
Whitney, Lucille and Kate were Behavioral Neuroscience / Biology students at Northeastern University who had taken the NBOA course (during its early years) and then continued working on this project, making important contributions to their respective chapters.

Rachel Waddell

Northeastern Student Neuro 3000 Website Contributor
Rachel Waddell is a student at Northeastern's Khoury Colleges pursuing a B.S. in Data Science as well as a minor in Behavioral Neuroscience. Her interest in neuroscience and experience in website work brought her onto this project. She helped redesign the layout and user experience of the Neuro3000 website.
